Rainier trip has been canceled. “Due to the escalating costs involved in such an expedition, I had to make a decision. I just could not see the practically of going into debt anymore than I have for this once in a lifetime adventure. It’s good to follow your dreams, but sometimes you have to be realistic about what you can do and when you should do it. Now is not the time. Maybe down the road when I find myself in a better position, I will go, but not now. As I told RMI (Rainier Mountaineering, Inc.) I guess I’ll have to stick with the Adirondacks for now, that’s not a bad trade off.”
