"This reporter has viewed the blog dated June 5, 2009. I notice that there is a Winter(?) Meeting scheduled for June 7, 2009. After many previous cancellations, is this to be believed? Also, fortunately, I declined to shake a certain charter member's hand this past Thursday despite it being offered contained within a rubber glove covered with animal blood. Despite this, I have noticed that my right hand has deformed to a position where it appears to be grasping a long cylindrical rod of perhaps 7"-8". Could this be an early symptom of the dreaded FP palsy?" -- Jambo HBS
