"During a recent business trip to Old Saybrook,CT, Jambo had the oppurtunity to go fishing with his old friend Livingston Taylor off the coast of Martha's Vineyard,MA. After an exhausting 45 minute struggle, Jambo successfully landed this impressive striped bass held by his fishing buddy. Too fatigued to actually lift the specimen himself, Jambo unselfishly offered to take the picture instead as Livingston hoisted the behemoth into view. After a fine feast of fried fresh fish, the pair repaired to Liv's studio to work on their new CD in preparation for a late 2007 release and ensuing national tour.The newly formed duo, much inspired by the Leecher-Barry Experience popular in the early '90s, will be known as The Bastards of Bass and will have Hot Tuna as the opening act. Rumor has it that both the LBE and Phish may be reuniting and will be co-headlining on select dates. Stay tuned to the FPR for more breaking news."
