FULL PACKER NEWS RELEASE (May 14, 2007): Feeling a bit spring feverish this past Friday, Capitanious donned his old fly fishing gear and headed north to the Salmon River where the trout and salmon are as big as the river they call home. Capitanious was baiting small and catching big on the slightly overcast day. Perfect conditions for a bit of catch and release action. Black flies ruled the day, but did not stop the old portly angler. Caddis dry flies seem to do the trick! The Captain caught 1 brookie and 7 others. Currently he is doing research on the "7 others" to identify this species of fish that seems to inhabit this river (photo above). Below are some photos of his day and rod bending trophy catch.
