FULL PACKER DATELINE NEWS RELEASE - 6/12/06 - 5:34am: At this year’s annual winter June 11th meeting, the Full Packers voted 4 to 1 to target Mt. Adams in New Hampshire as their group expedition of the year. During his presentation, Capitanious suggested that this year will be a “rebuilding year”, one where each member of the FP team should take stock of their climbing gear and to consider their physical condition, thier bodies as thier "most important climbing gear". A few of the Full Packers left the meeting showing signs of high anxiety, stunned disbelief and controlled panic in anticipation of this years climb; only 100 days away. Mt. Adams will be the highest mountain ever attempted by the Full Packers; 5,774’ with an accent of 4,500'. "It's not a question of just wanting to climb Adams, we have to climb Adams to breath new life into the Full Packers." said Capitanious. "We need to reach beyond what we think we can do, to sets goals that are just beyond our grasp or why climb at all? The Full Packers was founded on such a philosophy and we should settle for nothing less!"
