FULL PACKER PRESS RELEASE: Mano e' mano (man vs. man) is the call of the day!!!! Full Packer Wannabe “Redwood” has proposed what could be a most enjoyable outing for the FP team. Do you like guns, simulated killing and war?? Who doesn't?? I know I do! Redwood is suggesting a Full Packer afternoon of paintball war. Leave your purses home for this kind of adventure!!!!

Because most, if not all of the Full Packer’s do not have their own paintball arsenal, he suggested that we reserve a private time at the local paintball arena “HeadRush” where paintball gear can be rented. In order to reserve a private afternoon of battle and mayhem we would need a minimum of 8 warriors. I suggest we open this up to all friends and foe of the FP's, men and women. Having a minimum of 8 soldiers would guarantee our own playing time….…I mean war time.

Please let me know if you got the paintBALLs for this kind of “climbing high”

A special alert to all FPs that are going to see Roger McGuinn. Richie Furay, lead singer for Buffalo Springfield, composer of the immortal “Kind Woman” and along with Jim Messina, also from Buffalo Springfield and Loggins and Messina, formed the seminal country–rock band Poco which will be appearing at the NYS State Fair this August which inspired the Eagles, will be appearing July 19th in Harrisburg,PA, which is the state capital of Pennsylvania and adjacent to Hershey Park which has one of the largest collections of roller coasters in the country, along with former bassist of the Byrds, Chris Hillman, who formed the Souther- Furay- Hillman band along with Richie Furay before forming the Desert Rose Band and subsequently joining Roger McGuinn for a reunion of the Byrds in 1991 along with David Crosby who is a member of Crosby Stills Nash and Young, of which Steve Stills and Neil Young formerly played with Richie Furay and Jim Messina in Buffalo Springfield. Bottom line: you now have an oppurtunity to see 2 Byrds and 1 Buffalo Springfield in a 3 month period.

It was poor judgement on my part that all would see it as feeble attempt at humor. As Mother Jambo used to tell me as a young scout, “put brain in gear before opening mouth.” Or, as in this case before posting comments on the FPR. Please accept my humble apologies. The word on the street is that the Full Packer Association is currently under surveillance by the combined resources of the DEA and DEC. Apparently, both agencies have been tipped off that the members of the organization “just keep on hiking high”. Obviously, not only is this practice illegal, but it can have a deleterious impact on the environment. Members are cautioned to be wary and never travel in pairs, especially on Tuesday evenings and Wednesdays. Please adjust your routines and travel plans until this situation is resolved.
